I am a Technical Artist that loves to solve interesting puzzles as well as making intricate artistic designs.
I have been working with computers ever since I can remember. I started with Web Design making websites in HTML and CSS and transitioned into studying 3D art and Programming when I was in High school taking the Skills Center program at the AIE campus. In the Skills Center I learned the basics of 2D/3D animation and programming using programs such as Autodesk Maya and Unity.
While going to college for Game Art/Animation at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment in Seattle I worked on multiple different game projects doing different roles. I was the the tech lead for a underwater submarine level where you find a wrecked ship surround by treasure. I was in charge of making a destructible voxel pipeline from Maya to Houdini and then into Unity on a VR shooter for the HTC Vive in which you are in control of a mech and destroy pixelated ships. For each project I had to deal with different constraints and learn how to overcome them.
I am currently creating a tool in Unity called SubstanceTween that animates procedural materials that are made in Substance Designer. When I am not working on my tool I am making 3D models based on historical objects
